Nine builds,
start to handover.
A record rather than a showcase. Each plate below is one job we ran from groundwork to making good — what it was, where it was, and what the difficult part actually turned out to be.
Shop Reconfiguration
A retail floor stripped, re-planned and re-fitted to a fixed opening date.
New shelving runs and refrigeration installed alongside a full internal decoration. The programme was tight and immovable; the shop opened on the day it was meant to, with nothing given up on the finish.
Full Renovation & Extension
A house taken back to its structure and rebuilt around a single open room.
New kitchen, detailed stonework, a feature fireplace and herringbone flooring throughout. Structural steel opened the front living room end to end, which is what made the rest of it possible — brighter, longer, and finally one space instead of three.
Second Storey Extension
A full floor added above an occupied house, matched so closely it reads as original.
Steel beams in, detailed stonework out, and a roofline carried across without a seam. The brief was more room; the harder half of the brief was that nobody should be able to tell where the old house stops.
Loft Conversion
A cold roof void turned into the warmest room in the house.
New dormer, new staircase, a full bathroom, and insulation taken well past the minimum. The space was there the whole time; the work was in reaching it, and in making it cheap to heat once you had.
Kitchen Fitting
Two kitchens on one site, drawn to two entirely different briefs.
One for the main house, one for a garage converted to a letting. Each was designed with the client from a blank sheet, and the two were deliberately kept from matching — they sit on the same plot without repeating each other.
Bathroom Fitting
Two bathrooms fitted concurrently inside a live renovation.
Both were drawn with the client rather than presented to them, and both were finished to the same standard rather than one being the good one. Running them together kept a single set of first fixes, and one visit from every trade.
Groundworks & Extension
Dug, founded and built — the whole extension from the soil upward.
Groundworks and a rear extension finished in brickwork detailed enough to be worth looking at. Everything below ground was ours too, which is the part nobody photographs and the part that decides whether the rest lasts.
Landscaping
A sloping garden cut into terraces of stone, deck and fire.
New patio and steps in detailed stonework, a feature fire pit, stone-cage seating, fencing and a full sun deck. Built as levels rather than as one flat area, so the garden gained rooms the way a house does.
Coffee Shop Refurbishment
A trading room rebuilt around the way one person actually works behind a counter.
Bespoke countertops and a layout planned from the owner's own service sequence outward, not from a catalogue inward. The result is a room that is pleasant to sit in and, more to the point, quick to work in.
More of it,
as it happens.
Ongoing builds are posted to our social channels as they run, which is usually a month or two ahead of anything appearing here.
